Official Launch of Youth Awakening and Development Initiative (YADI)

On the 2nd of April 2024, Youth Awakening and development embarked on a 3-Month intensive skill training in Enugu. The preliminary stage of the training was culminated by a Seninar which attracted top personalities in Enugu who came around to share the significance of skills

The training spanned through 3 months with extra 2 months of Internship where the trainees were give real life experience of their trainings

The 30 of them were trained on Forex trading, fashion designing, Web development and graphic design

At the end of the training, they were given starter pack to earn from these skills

On the 28th of September 2025, YADI held one of the most impactful youth empowerment summit in the south east

In attendance was the Commissioner for Youths and Sports Hon. Lloyd Ekweremadu who represented the Governor; and other top dignitaries

6 Students and youths were given Academic and Business Grants at the Summit

At the Business Growth Conference of YADI in 2025, over 1000 participants across the south east participated which in all ramifications expanded the organization’s reach as the event was also watched globally.

At the event, 5 Youths were givens N100,000 each to support their businesses while Obed 30 secondary school students were given direct scholarships

The Conference was attended by notable personalities in Nigeria including Mr Peter Obi who was represented, Hon. law Mefor, the Commissioner for information Anambra State; commissioner for lands Enugu State , Hon. Chimaobi Okorie; Commissioner for Labour and employment, Hon. chika Ugwuoke; Executive Chairman Enugu state board of internal revenue, Emmanue Ekene Nnamani and many others
